Curbside Delivery Service
Our Standard Delivery Service aims to deliver your glass cabinet within 3-7 working days, The cabinet ordered will be delivered to the curbside and it is then up to yourself to bring the unit into your premises, Most units are delivered fully assembled with the Shelves, lighting, doors all already in place so all you would be required to do is un-pack and position the unit. We recommend if you are choosing this delivery service to have 2 people available to bring the unit(s) into the premises.
Unpack & Position Delivery Service
Our unpack and position delivery service is where your cabinet is brought into the premises and un-packed and positioned where you’d like on the ground floor of your premises*, It is then plugged into your mains power supply to check the unit is working. If all is well with the unit then you can sign to say you’ve received your delivery in good condition. Please note we do not take away any packaging, disposal of the packaging is the responsibility of the customer.
* If you would like delivery of your unit(s) on any other floor of the delivery address please do let us know we will do our best to accommodate your request, please note however there maybe an additional charge for delivering to any other floor.
We encourage you to check over the cabinet before signing for it to check there are no cosmetic damages. Once Signed for RDS Online cannot take responsibility for any damages caused moving the cabinet into the premises. This excludes electrical faults which come under our 2 year warranty (warranty - mainland uk only).
Delivery lead times are given in good faith and RDS Online will not be responsible for any kind of delay in transit. We accept no liability and the buyer has no right to cancel the order if the delivery is delayed beyond the estimated time unless we have specifically agreed in writing to deliver on a particular date at an extra cost to the buyer. 3.1 Every endeavor will be made to maintain delivery dates but no responsibility for later delivery due to circumstances beyond our control will be accepted. In no case shall delay be a ground for rejecting goods or terminating the contract. 3.2 The Company accepts no responsibility for any consequences, financial or otherwise, for failure of the customer to receive goods at the delivery address provided by the customer. 3.3 Goods delivered by carrier will require a signature to acknowledge receipt of the goods. If the goods are delivered and appear not in good condition, they must be signed for as received in damaged condition. Unless this is done, the Company will accept no responsibility for subsequent claims in respect of damaged or faulty goods. 3.4 In the event of goods being returned to the Company because of failure by the customer to receive the goods, the customer will be liable for the costs incurred in returning the goods to the Company. No re-delivery will be made until the customer has paid for the cost of a second delivery and reimbursed the Company for the cost of returning the goods to the Company.
